When creating a blog post in the ecom builder, there is no way to preview what the page will look like without publishing to the live site, even if you publish it to a draft theme.

If you publish to a draft theme to preview the post before it shows up publicly visible, it will auto-create a blog post object in shopify, which it then sets to "visible" and not "hidden." Meaning that while you're previewing your post in the draft theme thinking it's only visible to you, a ghost post shows up on the live, publicly visible site, with whatever content was in the metafields but not formatting, styles, or any of the content that was added in the builder, showing up as a blank shell looking post on the live site which looks very unprofessional to live visitors, and also gets indexed by google if left be.

This makes sense due to the way shopify works, as going in and setting the blog post object to "hidden" causes the draft theme's post to 404. That part is outside of ecom's control. However, other apps make this preview function work just fine by either using a dummy theme (not needed here), or just setting the blog object it creates to "hidden" when it makes it, that way people can preview their post by just publishing it to the live theme instead of a draft one, without it being immediately publicly visible.

A "preview" button which just makes a hidden post would be easy to add and prevent this bug from happening. I even tested it myself manually just now and it works fine with no special requirements. At the very least publishing a blog post to a draft theme should issue a warning that a real, live-visible post shows up on their site, or just prompts them to preview on the live theme instead or something. If I didn't suspect this would happen and shut it off quickly, it could potentially have lost the trust of some of our potential customers, since it looks unprofessional to site visitors.
